ROME – The Rome Film Festival on Monday announced its full lineup, including The Mole Song, the latest film from Takashi Miike, and Seventh Code by Kiyoshi Kurosawa, which will have their world premieres in the competition lineup.
Previously, the fest had unveiled the first four competition titles for its upcoming eighth edition: Spike Jonze's Her, Out of the Furnace from Scott Cooper, Dallas Buyers Club, directed by Jean-Marc Vallee and starring Matthew McConaughey as an HIV-infected man who locks horns with the medical establishment over treatment, and Another Me, a mystery thriller from Isabel Coixet starring Sophie Turner (Game of Thrones).
Her stars Joaquin Phoenix and Amy Adams, along with the voice of Scarlett Johansson, in a romantic comedy about a man in love with his computer operating system. Out of the Furnace features Christian Bale and Casey Affleck as brothers in a star-studded thriller with Woody Harrelson, Forest Whitaker and Zoe Saldana.
Organizers have previously also announced that Giovanni Veronesi comedy The Fifth Wheel would open the event.
